This place really does feel like Home. From the beautiful decor to the smiling staff, everything about this place is amazing. All the dishes I’ve eaten here are five stars and if the incredible chef, Matt Serfass, keeps going he’ll be earning a Michelin star. The cocktails are everything you could ask for; the Espresso Martini with the perfect mixture of flavor, and their famous Sprinter, which I think everyone has to try! I most recently had the New Orleans Shrimp and Grits for brunch and they are the best I’ve ever tasted. A perfect blend of spices on the tenderly cooked shrimp piled atop the deliciously creamy grits that melt in your mouth. You’ll want to keep coming back for more! I would give this place six stars if i could, it’s an absolute must visit in Chattanooga.
I have visited Home Bar several times and ALWAYS receive great service and excellent food options. Drinks are always fantastic as well! If you’re looking for one of the best atmospheres downtown, Home Bar is the place!
This spot is a real gem. Between the lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious cocktails, how could you go wrong? Our bartender Edward recommended a unique blueberry chocolate espresso martini that absolutely rocked my socks off. My wife ordered the “wealth” espresso martini with Pistachio syrup, and it was also incredible. The vibe of the place is very comfortable and relaxing. Major +, the bathrooms are super clean and have all the needed amenities. We will certainly be back!
4 stars because the service was very friendly, atmosphere is awesome, and the food was delicious. The only downside is the pricing needs tweaking, too high for the meal I got. For brunch service on Sunday, we got the Hangover burger and the Waffles & Chick. I got a fruit salad on the side with my waffle, and my friend had the fries with her burger. When we got our dishes, I was confused because her dish was full and looked so lovely, while mine was sparse and looked like something was missing. I had 1 waffle, 4 chicken nuggets (I shouldn't be able to count my protein pieces on one hand, come on people), and a few blueberries and chunks of pineapple for my "fruit salad". She had a beautiful burger, plenty of fries, and also a mixed berry side that she hadn't ordered? It was extra confusing because our meals cost exactly the same, $15. So my waffle and 4 nuggets are worth as much as a burger (with an egg!) and fries? Like I mentioned, however, the food was very good and my waffle was one of the best I've had, crunchy and sweet, just how I like them. I took a burger to-go as well, and it was phenomenal! Amazing flavor, highly recommended! The value for the burger is fantastic, not so much for the waffle and chick.
I went to Home for the first time Saturday night and had a blast! The atmosphere is perfect, very chill with cool decor. The service was amazing! Ben is the best bartender/manager! He makes you feel at HOME! The espresso martini menu is on point! Can’t wait to go back!
Their espresso martinis are great and run a bit sweet. Not pictured the Baked Feta Dip which I recommend if you want something super flavorful. The Chicken Piccata Meatballs was also great but compared to the baked feta it wasn’t as flavorful but definitely homey. Check out the themed bathrooms
We decided to get out of the house and come down the downtown, too people watch and bar hop. Protestors were loud and obnoxious. We we walked further down to get away from the crowd. We found this place. Edward was our bartender and was awesome!! Great conversation and amazing drinks. This place is really nice!! We came on a Saturday around 3:30 and hung out for a few hours. I would gladly come back. My husband and I split. The sliders. Those were yummy!! Come check this place out. It's a hidden gem!! Great food, great menu, amazing kickass service.
